“A View from Home, November”, Solo Exhibition, Roger Billcliffe Gallery, Glasgow, November 2020

“A View from Home, November” is a continuation of James’ similarly named show in May this year after it was curtailed due to COVID-19. It is comprised of a selection of paintings from the original show with the addition of a further 18 new works completed throughout 2020. As social distractions were removed in lockdown, James could concentrate fully on working from home. The show centres around the country garden and it’s produce, from the Bluebells and Cherry Blossom in April and May, through to the Poppies and Sunflowers of the late Summer months.
